This exciting book provides an insider's perspective on how these changes have affected the practical aspects of life in the European judiciary. This first book in Elgar's new series on Judicial Cooperation covers areas central to the evolution of the judiciary's role, including the protection of its independence, the working conditions of the judiciaries, as well as their relations with outside partners.
