Özet
Air transportation has experienced rapid growth, particularly since the 1960s, due to global tourism. This has led to unique developments in the industry, and the ongoing process of cultural, social, and economic globalization has further emphasized the importance of air transportation, which plays a crucial role in economic expansion, competitiveness, and improving living standards within a region. However, inadequate airport infrastructure can hinder economic advancement as airports also serve as a country’s entry point to the world, and efficient operations can greatly benefit a nation’s image. The objective of this study is to assess the efficiency of 20 airports in Turkey for the year 2021. The assessment is carried out using OCRA, which integrates four inputs and four outputs. The calculation of input and output weights is performed using the entropy method. Thus, airports are evaluated and contrasted based on operational performance.
