The significance of renewable energy for financial sustainability: A time series analysis

Companies are increasingly considering the importance of sustainability in its environmental, economic, and social dimensions. To maintain an environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable world for future generations, companies need to integrate these concepts into their business strategies. Being aware of this issue, Turkish-German University (TGU) hosted a conference on “Sustainability in Business Management” in cooperation with Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences in Istanbul. The conference offered a platform for academicians as well as practitioners to discuss the current issues related to sustainability in the business environment from different perspectives. The academic papers presented at the conference constitute the chapters of this book.
