dc.description.abstract | From the past to the present, there are radical changes and developments available in technology. Therefore, following these technological developments become essential for companies and organizations for coping with competitors. Transportation is a system that is in every business and can be used in various fields, and therefore, digitalization in transportation can be very essential for companies to adapt to Industry 4.0. In this study, a novel maturity model is proposed with the help of the literature and the experiences of experts. Within the scope of the proposed maturity model, five main criteria (material flow, business culture, organization & strategy, customer satisfaction & marketing, smart logistics) are proposed. In addition, the proposed model is solved by a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approach called hesitant fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (HFAHP). In the HFAHP method, uncertainties, which is the nature of this problem, are handled with fuzzy logic. Finally, a real-life case study is applied to the proposed model and methodology in a logistic company in Turkey. The results of this study show that the company needs to improve its capabilities for the digitalization of its transportation system, especially for customer satisfaction & marketing and organization & strategy criteria. | en_US |
