| dc.description.abstract | Tümevarım Aristoteles’ten itibaren bir akıl yürütme metodu olarak ele alınmıştır. Tabii bilimlerde deneyselliğin ön plana çıkmasıyla birlikte, bu metot Yeniçağda altın devrini yaşamıştır. Bu yöntem çerçevesindeki problemlerilk ortaya atılışından itibaren dile geti? rilmişse de, Hume’un deneyselliğin temeli oluşturan nedenselliğe yönelttiği eleştiriyle birlikte, tümevarım doğa bilimi alanında şüpheyle yaklaşılan bir yöntem durumuna gelmiştir. Tümevarım, Abbasiler döneminde Yunan mirasının aktarılmasıyla birlikte, mantığın bir parçası olarak İslam düşüncesine girmiştir. Mantık, din âlimleri arasında tartışmalara neden olsa da, el?Gazâlî’nin katkılarıyla İslam ilimlerine nüfuz etmiştir. Ne var ki tümevarım, Endülüslü âlim Eş?Şâtibî’ye kadar bu disiplinde sistematik bir rol oynadığını söylemek zordur. Eş?Şâtibî İslam normatif sisteminin temel amaçlarını belirlediği makâsıdü’ş?şerîa teorisi çerçevesinde, yoruma dayalı bir tümevarımın temellerini atmıştır. Eş?Şâtibî İslam temel esaslarının metinleri tikel yorumuna dayanan olasılıklı bilgiye dayandırılmasına karşı çıkar. Bunun yerine o teorisini, İslam’ın temel esaslarının, tümevarımsal yorumla oluşturulmuş kesinliğe dayanmasını gerektiği fikrine dayandırır. | dc.description.abstract | Induction has been discussed as a reasoning method since Aristoteles’ time. When the concept of experimentation had come into prominence in the natural sciences, this method experienced popularity in the Early Modern Age. Although the problem within the frame of induction has already been mentioned since its emergence, the use of induction in the natural sciences has been approached with suspicion with Hume’s critic of the causality asthe basic ofexperiment. Induction as part of logic entered into the Islamic thought in the period of Abbasids with the transfer of the Greek legacy. Logic as a way of thinking penetrated Islamic thought with the contribution of al?Ghaz?l? to the Islamic sciences, although it caused controversy among religiousscholars. Specifically, the use of logic has had a significant impact on thesystematization of fiqh?methodology, which regulates the practical moral area in the Islamic thought. However, it is difficult to say, that theinduction played a systematicalrolein this discipline until Andalusian scholar Ab? Ish?q ash?Sh?tib? (d.790/1388). Ash?Sh?tib? haslaid the foundations of hermeneutical induction in theory of maq??idash?Shar??ah, which has been defined the basic purpose of Islamic normativesystem. According to him, theIslamic basic principles should not be constituted to probable knowledge of particular commentary of the texts. Instead of this, he founded histheory on theidea that the basic principles of İslam should be constituted on the certainty of an inductively created hermeneutic. In this article, it has been discussed epistemological meaning of the hermeneutical induction. | |
