    Der einfluss der kulturellen identität auf das weibliche geschlecht im interkulturellen kontext

    Gender identity is a source of contradictory ideas in an intercultural context in today's world where everything is becoming more and more "liquid". This thesis analyzes how female gender and identity are shaped and affected by culture and society, and how inequalities, for example moral ones, emerge in this process. However, it examines whether identity is a fixed or dynamic structure. Four films were used as samples for the research: The Turkish film Tereddüt - Clair Obscur, the German Turkish production Head-On, the British Indian film Trishna and the South Korean film Wild Animals. These films were examined using the intersectionality theory at the structure-, symbol-, and subject-level to assess the individuals' self-perception in personal and social contexts. Connections between different layers and sections are revealed.
