Ülkemizde de nüfusun büyük kısmı kentlerde yaşamaktadır. Kentlere dair alınana kararlar, planlamalar, dönüşümler gibi kent mekânına müdahaleler kentlerde yaşayan insanların hayatlarına doğrudan etki etmektedir. Bu haliyle kente dair yönetimsel ve planlama konuları adaletle ilgili olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, 1960ların sonundan itibaren tartışılan kent ve adalet ilişkisine dair temel yaklaşımlar ele alındı. Bu bağlamda kent hakkı kavramı, kent ve sosyal adalet ilişkisi, mekânsal adalet kavramı ve adil kent tezi ele alındı. Uluslararası belge ve tavsiye metinlerde kent ve adaletin, kentli haklarının ne şekilde ele alındığı incelendi. Hukukumuzda kent mevzuatı adil bir kentin ölçütleri üzerinden ele alındı. Daha adil kentler için değerlendirmeler ve önerilerde bulunuldu.The world population is increasingly living in cities. In our country, most of the population lives in cities. Interventions to urban space such as decisions taken about cities, planning and transformations directly affect the lives of people living in cities. As such, administrative and planning issues related to the city are related to justice. In this study, the main approaches to the relationship between the city and justice, which have been discussed since the late 1960s, are discussed. In this context, concept of right to the city, the relationship between the city and social justice, the concept of spatial justice and the just city thesis were discussed. The way in which the city and justice and the rights of citizens are handled in international documents and recommendations were examined.
